All Gone!

All the puppies have been sold and have gone to their new homes. Teva seems to miss them as they are leaving, and she would whine into the whelping box as she noticed less and less puppies being in the box. But she hasn't seemed to mind being free so far this weekend =)

We have heard back from a few of the new puppies parents, and things seem to be going great.

Thanks so much! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. And if you have some cute pictures, feel free to pass them along so I can see how they look as they are older.

Thanks again!!

6 weeks old

The puppies will go tomorrow (Thursday) at 6:00 for their vet check up. Each of your puppies will come with the paperwork from the vet informing you of what shots your puppy got so you can take the paper to your vet. You may want to think about scheduleing your puppies 8 week appt. at your vet...sometimes vets take a while to get you in =)

They are at full blast now. Playing all the time. Eating loads and loads of food. And if I don't get them fed when they believe they should have been fed, then I hear about it! They have become vocal! =)

You can pick your puppy up the weekend in May 30th. Any time that weekend works for us. We have church on Sunday that we would be gone between 9:30 to 11:30 but besides those times, you can arrive whenever. And if midweek works better for you, that is fine too! Just let me know when you will pick your puppy up.

The Great Outdoors!!

The puppies LOVE their outside pen now! Everyday when I come home from work, I take them all out to the pen and let them run around for a while. They really love the outdoors. They are truely Golden Retrievers....they immediatly started digging and picking up sticks in their mouth and the ball! =)

Above is an available female. We have two females left. One is light and one is dark. The lighter female we have nick named "Bob" because she has a bob tail. She was born with full tail, but during delievery some how the tail got broken or the cord wrapped around it or something. So she was left with half a tail. =) She is the sweetest dog! Of course I say that about all of them! =) The dark female is also very sweet and she loves to be held.

Puppies at almost 5 weeks

Puppies are doing great. They are getting dewormed again tomorrow for their 2nd set of dewormer. They are growing bigger each day! Teva has them almost weaned. She feeds them only once or twice a day now. The puppies get company all the time! =)

4 weeks old and dewormed

The puppies are 4 weeks old today. Mark and I dewormed them all tonight. They don't seem to mind it..most licked it off their lips like it was a treat =) It's been pouring down rain for like a week now...so we haven't been able to take them outside. But we let them all loose in the kitchen tonight to play. Reef had a BLAST with them! That is the first time he has been loose around them (Teva and I don't let him in the pen with the puppies). He kept playing with the puppies and trying to get the puppies to be interested in his toys to play keep-a-way. He also loves cleaning Teva's ears out (he licks them..which is great because then we don't have to clean their ears) but Reef felt the need to clean all the puppies ears also =)

Food!

We fed the puppies "real" food for the first time yesterday and they LOVED it! I put some Pedigree puppy food in a cookie sheet with some water and let it soak for about 10-15 minutes. After it's mush, then it's meal time. The puppies scarfed it down as quick as possible! They weren't too impressed with the water bowl yet. The puppies would stick their head in and yank it back out really quickly after they tasted it =)

Above is a picture of Teva cleaning the leftovers off a puppies mouth. Below on the left is the first little girl to walk up to the food and see what it was all about. On the right is the same puppy (available girl) eating her first meal.
